Co-Host Brad Forsythe interviews Ellis Booker, Editor of BtoB, the Magazine for Marketing Strategists. The only publication devoted exclusively to the intersection of business marketing and business strategy, BtoB is published monthly by Crain Communications Inc. and reaches an audience of more than 45,000 readers. Booker is also editor of BtoB Media Business, the Magazine for Business Publishing Executives. In addition to the print edition, BtoB Media Business offers a weekly e-mail newsletter and the annual Top Innovators in Business Publishing Awards. Booker, a frequent speaker and panelist, also manages the editorial side of BtoB’s multi-city NetMarketing Breakfast series. Booker has built his career with stints as Editor at Large for CMP’s Internet Week, Senior Editor for Mecklermedia’s Web Week, where he conducted most of the paper’s “Industry Leader” interviews; and Senior Editor for Computerworld, where he led the magazine’s Internet and electronic commerce coverage in the early days of the Web. A 1980 graduate of Oberlin College, Booker has a B.A. in English and Philosophy. He lives in the suburbs just north of Chicago and has two sons.
